DAYGA'S DIARY. Who is Dayga? Dayga is a Miniature Schnauzer born May 1999. From a good Kennel Club family he had aspirations for a show ring career and did well at puppy stage shows. However as he matured he developed an ear slightly mis-angled so retired gracefully to life as a home pet.

He lives with three other mini schnauzers, first his wife, Susie she is the boss of them all and stands no nonsense. Then there is the daughter Pippa who refused to leave home. Her motto best to stay in the comforts you know then chance the world outside. Then last but not least there is Aunt Tess, some may unkindly describe her as lazy. Her Sister in Derbyshire became a champion but Tess felt the publicity and touring was not the life for her. Instead she enjoys her role as aunt taking care of the others particularly Dayga who is her plutonic boyfriend. Well anything more meaningful would result in pups and that is a bit much for a lady like Tess.

Dayga Milestones.

Nov. 2000 Birth of his first litter with Susie four daughters and one son. Great fun being chased by the youngsters as their abilities grew. Left the real work to Susie (sounds typical) main duty at this time was monitoring prospective new parents visiting the pups. Most visited at least three times before taking away a pup and he approved all the adoptions.

Great time as the visitors always had coffee and biscuits and felt obliged to share. Plus the pups got the lions share of fuss but the poor neglected look always got him a hug or two. House very quiet when they had all gone by early 2001.
